Calling ALL Amigurumi enthusiasts!!
RESOBOX Gallery, a Japanese cultural center, is planning to hold a “World Amigurumi Exhibition” starting December 12, 2014. The goal is to completely fill their gallery space with at least 3,000 amigurumis, turning the gallery into an “amigurumi room”, filled to the brim with cuddly and cute handmade plushies! This is a perfect event for all of us to unite together and showcase what we love! I’m definitely in! Who’s with me? :)

If you are a big fan of Totoro, I’m sure you will enjoy browsing through these pictures that I’m sharing today. These Totoro Beanies (all 7 of them) are custom requests to be presented as wedding gifts for the bride and groom as well as to their five future babies! :) Yes, I repeat, FIVE future babies! Haha. I bet they are going to look so cute together wearing their individual handcrafted Totoro beanies.
I was never really into the Totoro craze not because I dislike it, but I never really had the chance to watch the movie. I only discovered its’ existence from the merchandises I saw in gift shops and shopping malls.
Recently, I also came across many other crochet artists that designed and crocheted Totoro creations too. One of my favourite is Amigurumei's Totoro amigurumi. She even shared her Totoro crochet pattern for Free! Click “Here" for the link. Stephanie from All About Ami also dressed her daughter Myra as a Totoro at a cosplay event last year. You can read more about it “Here”.
I guess my interest for Totoro slowly grew after seeing more and more of its’ cuteness through other crafters.
The Totoro Beanie with a cheeky smile is for the groom whereas the one with the clover leaf on the head is for the bride. I like how the one with the cheeky smile has his eyes on the “female” version Totoro beanie. :)
Needless to say, these little ones are for their babies. :)
This is one of the biggest beanie order I’ve received to date. All thanks to Dorin for having so much faith in me and trusting me to handmade this special gift set for her sister’s wedding.
Thank you for taking time to read this. Let me know if you’ll be interested in having this Totoro Beanie Crochet Patterns? That’s all for now! Till next time and Happy October Everyone! :)

Ferrandi Pastry School Teddy
Lil’ Chef Teddy will be presented to a proud graduate for completing her amazing journey in Ferrandi (Paris) Pastry School next month. She is one step closer in making her chef dream into reality.
This teddy was made according to what they wear in Ferrandi Pastry School. Click “Here" to see the actual uniform for comparison and tell us what you think. I had so much fun creating this teddy. I hope you’ll like Lil’ Chef Teddy too. :)
